Meet our Characters

And sure enough, there’s magic in the air when
D’Lilacs is in bloom. She is a very special Lilac bush.
For she’s the one who knows just when to bloom to
bring worlds together. I can tell Mom and Dad feel
the joy her sweet scent shares with all.

Meet Webster and Tara.
You’ll usually find them
deep in conversation.
They’re Elfin Elders and
seem to have centuries
worth of wisdom. Who
Knows? Maybe they do.

Now it’s time to go see
What all of these fine
Folks are up to.
I bet they’ll have some
great adventures.

Tiny is such a very curious fairy. She doesn’t want to miss out on a thing. And yet, like Airka,
she is a little bit shy at first. She loves to help in any way she can; coming up with good ideas,
helping to solve challenges, or offering a kind word to soothe a sad heart. Tiny’s always grateful
when her friends help her in return. She still struggles a bit with her flying. You see, her wings
haven’t quite caught up with the rest of her. They are growing, but they’re still just a little small.
She crashes into things if she’s not careful. So Samson coaches her to really hold a joyous
picture of her best self in flight. She’s making fantastic progress!

Twyla is just a little bit of a fairy, like a humming bird. She’s just a little bit older than Samson and Airka.
She loves to lead! She also really loves to meet new friends and head into new adventures. When they
all get together to play music, sure enough, she’s the band leader. She and Tiny play the flute together.
Tiny blows and Twyla hops around on the holes to make different notes. You’ll see Twyla leading you into each new story as well. She’s a natural hostess.

Meet Breeze! She delights in bringing everyone sweet scents, soft cooling caresses,      cheerful bird songs, and rains to the thirsty. She helps in some very
         surprising ways. When it’s time for a good cleansing, Breeze lets
             her sister Wind come through.

A beautiful and happy bird, Cardinal is always ready
to share a flash of brilliant red and sing a chipper song. He’s even taught Samson and the band some tunes.

Somehow I’m not surprised to find Samson and Airka Up here in Tree.
Samson loves to climb in Tree, play with all of his elfin and fairy friends,
and see what incredible wonders Nature has in store for them. He’s always
so glad to see you. I’m sure he’d wave to you but he’s also very thoughtful when
he climbs Tree. He’s holding Airka so Airka can wave. Airka is usually pretty shy. He only let’s
you see him if you have a very good imagination. Since Airka’s waving I’d say your imagination
is in great shape. Samson lives in the country, just outside of town, with his mom and dad. They
know he’ll be fine in the woods as long as Samson uses some safety tricks he’ll teach us a little later.

It’s hard to slow these two down. Meet Mac and Nog.
They’re brothers, Elf brothers, that is. They have some
pretty funny stories to tell. The trick is getting
them to tell you some of them. I don’t think
I’ve heard Nog say a single word. Ever!
Mac is the fast one. He loves to chase his poor
brother. Nog isn’t crazy about the game because
he can never get away. But they have fun. They love
all of their hide and seek, parades, and playtime with
Samson in the woods. You’ll love their kind hearts.

Nord even came out to say hello. He’s pretty much
always in the trees. He’s prone to giggling and
playing tricks very quietly when no one sees
him. I think that’s why he’s always hiding.
He’s very glad you’re here though.
I can tell by his smile.

Tree just couldn’t resist
a quick hello. Tree is a Great Grandaddy Oak. Over the years
Squirrel, Cardinal, Breeze and others have helped spread his acorns to
grow many of the other trees near Magical Meadow. One of the most generous
creatures I know, Tree lets Samson and all of his friends climb and play in him all
day long. He gives us all the oxygen we need to breathe without complaint and
helps keep us all cool and moist.
