Educational Philosophy

See It So® draws on several pedagogical foundations to develop its programs:

• Gardner’s Multiple Intelligence's are smoothly integrated within the activities of the interactive
products and stories.

• Current brain research relating to cognitive development and emotional intelligence, are used
in the design of activities.

• ADD/ADHD research is applied.

• Storytelling heritage draws children into fantasy, a vital precursor of abstract thinking.

• Visual literacy, with beautiful fine-art animations, precedes events and aural description.

• Kinesthetic learning modality includes the fine motor cursor use, as well as a stretch exercise
and teacher-guided activities.

• Emotional intelligence exercises are extended through story, specific activities, facial expressions,
and vocal intonations.

• Healthy early childhood observational learning is modeled by the characters.

• Multi modal instruction blends non-evaluative, instructive, and immediate feedback exercises.

• Parent / teacher lesson plans accompany the activities, extending the CD with a variety of
suggested activities.

• Creativity skills are encouraged by the diverse approach to content and exposure to the arts.

Research and Standards Based

Our approach is based on extensive research in the areas of brain development, emotional/chemical
connections, attention disorders, Gardener’s Multiple Intelligence, quantum physics. and creativity
studies. A team of eight educators from across the United States, all considered authorities in their
field, have assembled the lesson content and helped design the instructional material. Each has based
his or her material on extensive research in their respective areas.
